Fields of application
Heat transformers are absorption heat pumps transforming heat from a low to a higher temperature level using the heat at a low temperature level for actuating.
The ago calforma® transfers industrial waste heat, that due to the temperature can no longer be used, to a higher usable temperature level and this without significant operating costs because it uses the waste heat for actuation. The following applications are possible, for instance:
- Heat recovery from the moist warm exhaust air of drying processes
- Heat recovery from hood exhaust air or vacuum pumps of paper machines
- Heat recovery from the gypsum drying process
- Heat recovery in food drying processes
- Heat recovery during sugar crystallisation
- Further cooling of district heating return
- Further cooling of geothermal water
